Value-added tax

As a small business within the meaning of Section 19 of the German VAT Act (Umsatzsteuergesetz), the Provider does not charge value-added tax on its own invoices; there is no VAT identification number pursuant to Section 27a of that Act. Subscriptions are sold by Digistore24 GmbH as the reseller — the value-added tax shown during the order process and on the invoice follows Digistore24's tax liability, not the Provider's.
